Born in Guruve on October 18, 1983, Michael Mugavazi, inspired by the abundance of raw stones in the area, transitioned to full-time sculpting in 2005, later becoming a teacher and learning from fellow sculptor Passmore Mupindiko at Mvurwi Sculptors, with his art fueled by love and happiness.
